Ironwood Custom Builders is committed to Energy Efficient construction and Green Building techniques.

Energy Efficiency is critical as we face these times of high fuel costs. In 2008, Ironwood committed to build all new homes to the EPA's Energy Star standards. The EPA guarantees that Energy Star rated homes are a minimum of 30% more energy efficient than what the building code requires. What does this mean for our customers? It means that homes we build are less expensive to own than those of our competitors. For you, our customer it means less out of pocket money for utilities each month and higher resale value when you list your home as "EPA 5 Star Rated".
Aside from building homes that are energy efficient, Ironwood is also committed to Green Building standards. What does "Green" mean? Green Building techniques are based on taking the environment into consideration during every step of the building process. From house placement on the lot, window size, type, and placement, low VOC finishes, to energy efficient light fixtures and water efficient plumbing fixtures.
